For more than 40 years, Classic Architraves & Skirting has been helping shape homes and buildings across Australia. A family legacy of craftsmanship
My father, Oscar Roller, was a master craftsman in Europe in the early 1900s. He worked mainly in Vienna and Brussels on such beautiful historic buildings as the Vienna State Opera House, the Anker Building and Tassel House. He loved the use of ornate mouldings and was able to create beautiful details in timber. I had great joy as a child watching him work, and through his example developed a love of decoration and an appreciation of the richness of historic detailing in buildings.
My focus at Classic is the pursuit of this passion. I have spent a life-time building up the most extensive range of profiles in Australia. I trust that you’ll find the Classic website useful not only as a guide to our products and services, but also as a handy reference to the many architectural styles that have shaped Australian homes and public buildings.
